java.lang package

The java.lang package defines classes used by all Java programs. The package defines class wrappers for all primitive types such as Boolean, Byte, Character, Double, Float, Integer, Long, and Short, as well as String, Thread, and Object. Unlike classes in any other package, classes in the java.lang package may be referred to by just their class name, without having to use an import statement
