It is important to have a common code formatting style in large teams to manage code, in terms of readability, code comparison and maintainability. Following are the steps to configure the code formatting style in Eclipse:

1) Open Eclipse IDE and from the Menu bar , navigate to , Window - > Preferences
2) Click on new, and enter a valid name to create your formatting tempelate
3) Modify the settings according to your own prefernnces, do refer to sun coding standards for more clarity.
4)To export the format template and share it wit team members, click on export and provide an appropriate name. The result template will be in the form of a xml file.
